Indonesian
E-mail program
Learning
Indonesian Language through e-mail is a new
method of learning Indonesian, which includes:
- Exchanging Culture between
Indonesia and the home countries
- Using technology in computer
system where the students can have other
skills apart from the language skills
- Providing native Indonesians
as a tutor or as a counterpart where
students can learn the real senses of the
language
This
program is very easy and reasonable because the
students do not have to leave the home countries.
As long as the students can have a computer with
an Internet connection this program can be done
anywhere in this world.
This program has been successfully implemented by
4 High Schools in Australia and more than 5 High
Schools in Semarang as the counterparts of the
students. The Australian schools, which were
involved in this program last year, were Mt.
Creek High School, Deception Bay High School,
Bribie Island High School and Pine River High
School. Those schools are all from The Sunshine
Coast area.
